Before one starts an agricultural project they need to plan for these factors.
1:Availability and cost of input and resources
This is very important because one needs to know if they can start or run businesses with the availability of resources such as water, land and labor. The cost can also let one know if they have enough to run to project.
2:Suitable climatic conditions
If one is deciding to grow crops or rear a certain breed of animals certain climates can not suite ones project.Growing rice in an area without enough water can prove rather useless as rice grows in swampy areas
3:Market situation of the product
A good project manager will not produce a product out of demand as it may not sell.To evaluate this they have to study the market to make sure their efforts do not go in vain.
4:Availability of suitable land
Your activity needs a suitable piece of land for the activity.Rearing animals in a swampy area is not ideal as these conditions are suitable for spread of water borne diseases.Growing crops on a rocky piece of land would surely guarantee crop failure. So the land you have should match the activity you have to carry out.
